Our patent pending Quick Adjust Hip Lead brings an entirely new level of flexibility to your K9 kit. When developing this hip lead, our main priority was to give operators, handlers, and trainers a way to adjust the placement of their K9 with extreme ease and not be slaved to a single position or length, allowing maximum training value and comfort for themselves and their K9.

Out of the box from 'O' ring to end of the quick release, the Hip Lead can be adjusted from 22.5" to its max length of 36". When adjusted and cinched down via the tri-glide, it can be taken down to as little as 10". The Double-Tap Slider™ from our friends at High Speed Gear is the key mechanism which allows the handler to adjust the hip lead length on a whim for their specific needs or mission. At the end of the hip lead is a stainless-steel quick release snap shackle, rated for 1,000 lbs of load and swivels 360 degrees. Outfitted with an orange paracord pull tab for clear visibility in low-light situations, the shackle will release under load or without load once the tab is firmly pulled.
